All our codes come with a money back guarantee, if our code does not work we provide a full refund. For codes we source (Vodafone, 3, T-Mobile, Motorola and LG the codes are sourced from the manufacturers so they WILL work provided you give us the correct details at payment (esp your IMEI).

For our in house generated codes (Nokia dct3 and dct4) different models and often take different codes, and we can supply a number of codes for you to try, if in the very unlikely situation our codes are unsucessful we offer a full refund. Proof will be required details given after order.

Most codes take 1-7 days to return (exc weekends), please look at our current return times here before you place your order. In the unlikely event that after 14 days if your codes do not return we will send you a refund. Please dont place your order and 15 mins later file a non-receipt claim, if you wish to cancel contact us.

If you provide us with the wrong IMEI in most cases you will get a "IMEI" not found from the server we source codes from you will be able to give us your correct IMEI and we can reprocess them (no extra charge), however if you provide the wrong IMEI and a code does come back we offer NO REFUND, as we must source and pay for these in advance - please ensure your IMEI is accurate.

Not all phones are compatible with all networks EVEN after unlocking. 2g phones will not operate with 3g network, this is essentially like trying to get dvd to play in a video cassette player, it wont work. Also bands can be an issue if your phone is dual band it will work on 2 bands if quad it should work globally. If you are unsure ask us or do research, if you expect your phone to work in a way that it is not made to do so, no refund can be offered. For most newer phones band compatibility isnt an issue however if your phone is older you should really check it out.

For BB5 Nokia phones its important to enter the code correctly first time otherwise your phone becomes locked and you will then only be able to unlock using a cable and hardware. If you purchase our BB5 codes and your handset has been tampered with previously you will receive the message "Not Allowed" "Code Error" or "Cannot Undo Restriction" when entering our codes. If this is the case with your Nokia you will need to purchase an RPL log file to unlock your phone and be able to use your code (this resets the phone to 0 count on the number of bad code entries). You will then be able to enter the code purchased. For BB5 Nokia phones we do not offer money back guarantee if you or someone else has exceeded the code count for entering codes. If you receive a "Not Allowed" or "Cannot Undo Restriction" we will ask for you to use the pretest RPL file to test your code count. Before you purchase our BB5 codes its worth while testing the code count (requires the RPL software and usb cable provided with your phone) before you purchase. RPL files that reset your phone can cost extra on top of your code price.

If you provide us with the wrong Service provider, even if it is the same network but from another country (ie you select UK vodafone BUT you are locked to Portugese Vodafone please note CODES MAY RETURN BUT THEY WILL NOT WORK! if this happens you will be totally liable for payment of your codes and they will NOT WORK, please ensure YOU select the correct network provider your phone is locked to.

Orders placed cannot be officially cancelled without emailing us and confirmation that we have cancelled. Sometimes we cannot cancel orders once placed with us due to server entry rules. Please do not assume an order has been cancelled until you have received our reply as orders that return codes cannot be cancelled later.

If an IMEI submitted shows "CODE NOT FOUND" this means we was unable to get any code for you from the server, you will be given a refund. In some cases other services are available that may be cheaper or more expensive, you are given the option whether or not to upgrade or downgrade to this service, however should you choose not to you will be given a full refund. If our service returns a code not found, you will find that all other websites that offer this service will end in the same result, also make sure you provided the correct IMEI.

Refunds are returned to your paying account within 48 MAX (in most cases we refund same day). Refunds are given where codes are not sent or able to be obtained. For orders placed with incorrect details orders cannot be refunded.

Refunds are given automatically for codes that do not return from the suppliers database. Codes that do not return from the main databases cannot be sourced from anywhere else although alternatives can sometimes be offered these are completely optional and refunds are returned first.


If code problems arise sometimes it may be nessary to provide proof that the codes did not work as intended, this could be in the form for example photographic evidence or other forms of evidence, these are very rarely required but in some cases necessary. On receipt of the correct evidence refunds will be sent.

Please beware of websites that offer a full refund but then you read the terms and conditions closely and they insist you send your phone away to be unlocked by them (this is often how they are able to keep prices to rock bottom) we are in the business and not only do I realise what a bad reputation some companies have given the industry Foneszone is a small friendly family run company, I have NEVER (in our 6 years of trading) forced a customer to send us their phone or REFUSED a refund when a customer either proves their code hasnt worked or their code returned as NOT FOUND, as long as the following is shown to be true:

1. IMEI given is correct.

2. The Provider locked to is correct.

3. The phone hasnt been tampered with previously (showing "cannot undo restriction" for example) If you bought your phone second hand you MAY not be able to tell until you get your code and when you try to enter it it says "NOT ALLOWED" or similar.

4. That you follow our instructions to the LETTER, that you dont waste trys reentering codes and follow all our given procedures correctly.

5. That you phone unlocks and you are not expecting your phone to work with a simcard that isnt compatible with your phone (ie 2g/3g and network bands).

If the above is found to be not true then unfortunately we cannot refund as this affects the codes we supply or any company would supply.
