hi there just a quick note to say how happy i was with the service from these guys. i ordered my motorola remote unlock codes and paid by credit card,all was well but time was going by and i had not received any codes. i sent a brief email to fones zone who responded very quickly with the reason for the delay. After 2 days of waiting for my codes from fones zone nothing had still arrived so i sent another email asking what was going on to this i received a very nice email from a lady called haylee who took time to find out the reason for the dealy and explained to me in a long email the exact reason why this was so. Anyway to cut a long story short it turns out the server were the codes are sourced from was infact down and every effort by fones zone was maid to keep me well informed of the situation even to the point of offering me a full refund. I declined the refund and my codes were sent when the server was back online so it makes a huge change to see a company who actualy cares about there customers feelings and doesnt fob the of with lame excuses. Good website. I experienced some difficulty and delay being processed but I didnt give up and eventually it was sorted. After payment I received the unlock number very quickly and even better..it worked! I also received 2 other nos. but I dont know why! 1 is called a ONE TIME NUMBER and the other SPECIAL CODE. My phone hasnt asked for them so I dont know what use they are! From a laymans point of view less jargon would be good (what is lol?)and therefore a glossary of terms would be very helpful. Especially when one receives more codes than expected! I would also suggest a flow chart of the unlock process would help most people.

Some practice was needed to get the right speed of key entry: too fast or too slow and the phone screen reverted to "Insert SIM card". Unlock worked on the first try. It didn't go exactly as the dirictions stated. I put the t-mobile sim card in and it immediately prompted me for the unlock code. When I tried to enter the # symbol it gave me the message code to short. Unlock worked as promised. I have been delighted with the service received from Fonezone; espcially the after-sale customer care. All my questions were dealt with promptly and answers to my emails were always received within a few hours of sending (and often quicker). The price is a little more than I really wanted to pay (more than two thirds of the cost of my PAYG phone!!) but I should save that within a year using the new provider. Also it has since transpired that the provider themselves would willingly onlock for three pounds less but would have had to wait over 28 days. D'oh! This is reflected in my rating score. Customer service is excellent, but you pay a premium for it. I will recommend Fonezone to anybody who asks for a friendly and helpful remote unlocking service.

The Samsung E1120 is a basic phone but with an incredibly long standby of almost three weeks. The phone was locked to Orange when I purchased it.
